Vientiane, August 25, 2026 – The SHACMAN Brand Appreciation and New Energy Truck Launch Conference in Laos, hosted by ANDA Automotive Laos, was successfully held in Vientiane. Phoutravunkol Namthavong, Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce of Laos, attended and delivered an important speech. Vice Minister Phoutravunkol Namthavong, together with Qin Changling, Chairman of Qin Gong International Group and Chairman of ANDA Automotive Laos, Chen Bin, Chairman of Lhasa Vong Group and Co-founder of ANDA Automotive Laos, Cao Zhen, General Manager of Shaanxi Automobile Import & Export Corporation Asia Pacific Region, and representatives of key Lao customers, jointly unveiled the SHACMAN X5000e pure electric tractor truck. More than 160 people, including representatives from government departments, OEMs, financial institutions, insurance companies, and Shaanxi Automobile customers, witnessed the event.

At the press conference, Phouthavan Namthavong, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Laos, delivered a speech on behalf of the government, affirming SHACMAN's positive significance as a landmark heavy-duty truck brand in China-Laos production capacity cooperation, contributing to the upgrading of local transportation tools, reducing logistics costs, and creating green jobs. He stated that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce will continue to provide compliance support in areas such as import facilitation, after-sales localization, and charging/battery swapping facilities.

Qin Changling, Chairman of Qin Gong International Group and Chairman of ANDA Auto Laos, emphasized in his speech that ANDA will treat every Shaanxi Automobile user as family, taking customer needs as our mission. Relying on efficient service and ample spare parts reserves, we will solve customers' vehicle usage problems. Regardless of where the customer purchased the vehicle, in what year, or in which region of Laos, as long as the customer has needs, ANDA will go all out to provide professional and timely after-sales service.

Product Core: X5000e Adapted to Lao Operating Conditions

The Shaanxi Automobile X5000e, based on the intelligent electric drive platform, boasts a peak power of 580kW and a peak torque of 3000N·m. It is equipped with a 400–600kWh battery, supporting dual-gun fast charging and battery swapping. Fully loaded, it can handle multiple trips per day in short-to-medium distances involving gravel, cement, and border crossings. Overall vehicle energy consumption is optimized by approximately 15% compared to its competitors, and the reliability of the three-electric system is improved by 30%. The wide-body, flat-floor cab (approximately 1.98m in height) significantly reduces long-distance driving fatigue, perfectly suited to the hot, mountainous, and complex road conditions of Laos.

Finance + Insurance Package: ANDA Signs Comprehensive Solution with Lao Banks and Insurance Companies

To address the pain points of "expensive electric vehicles and high investment," ANDA Automotive Laos, in conjunction with local Lao commercial banks and insurance companies, launched an integrated solution encompassing "vehicle purchase + finance + insurance + maintenance," and held a tripartite signing ceremony. The plan covers low down payment installments, battery risk assessment, extended warranty for the three core electric components, and a quick replacement mechanism in case of an accident. It transforms the single-vehicle purchase decision into a full life cycle TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) optimization, enabling small and medium-sized transport operators to "afford to buy, use reliably, and resell with value".
